Let’s start by saying we know the everything is energy. So when we speak of vibration we are also speaking of frequency and energy. These are often used interchangeably in the spiritual communities. Don’t get me wrong, this in not a spiritual belief, it is recognised by science and is quantifiable. The frequency of something is measured in sound waves or hertz.

Here it shows the frequency of emotions. I love this chart and visit it often.

This chart is a great place to start because it shows that as humans living this experience we are in a constant flux of energy. Some days we can experience the full spectrum of human emotions. Our emotional experience is something thing that separates us for other things in nature that are at a constant/set frequency.

So here it is! My tips to raising your vibration frequency and striving for days that are “high vibe”.

Flora & Fauna – To Raise Your Vibration

  • Herbal Tea

        We love a good quality loose leaf tea around here. Herbs and flower hold their own vibrational signature.  A rose has the closest vibration to the universal frequency of love (528 Hz). Yes, roses are a beautiful medicinal and culinary herb. They have been used in parts of the world dating back to the 7th century. 

     When I’m in need of the heart healing frequency of roses, I make myself a Creamy Rose Latte. It’s important to source your goods well, because of course the land, cultivation and packaging all play an energetic role in keeping the vibration high.

  • Gardens & Fresh Flowers

     Every gardener will tell you that being in the garden takes the day’s stress away. If you look at everything in nature as energy, it’s easy to see that having your hands in the dirt and tending to a garden is highly therapeutic. 

     I’m very aware that everyone’s home situation looks different and that we can’t all have lush gardens. That’s totally okay ! We have house plants and fresh cut flowers. 

     If you want to take it a step further, start a small herb garden in your kitchen window. I just encourage you to surround yourself with nature whenever possible.

  • Essential Oils

       Essential oils are incredible. Each bottle of essential oils is action packed with powerful flowers and herbal energy. It’s insane to think how much plant material goes into one drop of essential oil. 

     It requires about 10,000 pounds of rose petals and about 250 pounds of lavender to harvest one pound of essential oil. So next time you grab your E.O. bottle, remember that a very little bit goes such a long way. 

     A few ways in which I love to work with the power of essential oils are to make an aura mist or a facial spray. I use facial hydration sprays in my holistic skincare studio. Movement – To Raise Your Vibration

  • Dance Party

   We love a good dance party at our house.  We each take turns yelling, “ Alexa, play…..” 

     Dancing is a great way to raise your vibration.  The wilder and more  flamboyant the better. When you are able to get out of your head and completely drop into your body, you can feel an emotional shift.  

     Play your favorite music and ride the waves of Joy. 

  • Nature Walk

      QING LI wrote in a Time article that, “ In Japan, we practice something called forest bathing, or shinrin-yoku. Shinrin in Japanese means “forest,” and yoku means “bath.” So shinrin-yoku means bathing in the forest atmosphere, or taking in the forest through our senses.”

     Nature in all its forms- ocean, mountain, lake and forest, reminds us that we are a part of a whole.  Something greater then our to-do-list and current problem.  

     The feeling of wonder and belonging give us the high vibration emotions of Joy  and Happiness.  ( Frequency 540 hz. ) 

I recommend a daily dose of nature medicine. Try eating your lunch outside, lean up against a tree, walk barefoot in a patch of clover, or watch a thunderstorm from an open window. It doesn’t have to be a 3 mile hike everyday. Show up to greet Her however and whenever you can.

Sound – To Raise Your Vibration

  • Hertz Music

     People often joke that you can find and learn anything on Youtube. I’ve heard it referred to as Youtube University. My husband has multiple degrees from the Youtube University of Auto Mechanics. ( Saved us thousands in repairs).

     I even have a channel, where I make how-to, tutorial style videos about candle making and other cozy crafting.

     Youtube is also where you can find hertz music for free. The different hertz frequency music is focused on things like heart healing, relaxation, balancing chakras, activating the pineal gland, focus and so much more.

     If you have a Pandora or other streaming music membership, you can find hertz and binual beats on there as well. I use these apps in sessions on the regular. Everyone loves the music and always comments on the way they feel. It elevates the whole holistic treatment experience.

  • Sound Bath

   If you’ve never experienced a sound bath or sound healing session I highly recommend it. You can usually find these as group events or individual treatment sessions . I have attended some at my local yoga studio and found them on Eventbrite as well.

     You can also search for Reiki practitioners and Holistic massage and skincare practitioners that incorporate sound healing in their session.

     This article is focused on at home and everyday ways to raise your vibration. So going to a sound healing event daily is not practical. Don’t worry, I’ve got you and so does Amazon. Like Youtube , you can find almost anything you need on Amazon. These Tuning Forks are a great place to start. Read through the descriptions and find the right fork for your needs.

Self Care Ritual – To Raise Your Vibration

  • Gua-Sha Facial Treatment

Gua-sha is an ancient treatment used in Traditional Chinese Medicine. The treatment has been used on the body, as well as the face. There are so many benefits to using this method, but for the sake of high vibrational energy, we will look at it from a more holistic/spiritual lens.

  1. The Tools – The tools themselves are often crafted from crystals like – quartz, jade, and bian stone. All of the hold there own high vibrational frequency.
  2. Oils – If you are using a high quality facial oil, you are connecting with the oil & herbs frequency code. So think of that when choosing your skincare and ritual oils.
  3. Connection – When you are treating this as a self-care ritual, you may notice your breathing becoming more intentional, your focus on the flow of lymph, and the act of being present. All of this has an effect on raising your vibration.
  • Epsom Salt Bath

Throughout the day we have picked up on so many different energies, from our co-workers to daily toxins. It just makes sense to wash away the day. Salt has been used in cultures for ages to ward off negative energies and draw out disease and toxins. An Herbal Salt Bath is a beautiful blend of herbs, salts and dose of much needed self-care.

This recipe is guide. Feel free to mix up the herbs, E.O. and base oils.

( A little word of caution – I recommend using a tea bag or cotton bag to contain your blend. Also, the oils can be very slippery, careful getting out of the tub. )
